We offer one-week all-inclusive fishing vacations from our beachfront lodge at the main channel on Christmas Island. At Ikari, anglers enjoy six full fishing days on the famous lagoon flats, fringing reefs, and offshore waters around Kiritimati.

Our Boat Fleet
We maintain the largest fleet of fishing boats on Christmas Island. Most are “panga” style monohulls equipped with powerful Suzuki outboard motors. We also run a traditional outrigger boat. Our boats are designed for comfort, speed, and safety while fishing flats and offshore waters.
Bluewater & Outer Reef Fishing
The outer reefs and bluewater fishing at Kiritimati offer excellent action for varied, large fish. Species include tuna, sailfish, GTs, mahi mahi, ono, and various bottom fish. It also means sashimi before dinner!
Notes About Bluewater Fishing
Offshore fishing trips require a group of anglers willing to skip a day (or part of the day) on the flats. We usually get 1-2 groups of anglers interested in doing an offshore day during the week. It’s also essential to have the correct heavy spinning or trolling gear. Additional fuel charges may apply for offshore fishing.
